Connecting NEW SATAIII drive

You have connected your brand new HDD (like HGST 12TB) and it doesn't work. Apparently, new drive use 3.3v pin to actually DISABLE the drive!
Solution? Yes there are many. You can buy MOLEX to SATA adapter or if you have modular power supply and spare SATA power cable you can simply CUT OFF wire for that pin. Here are the photos to show what I did:
